Smartlook alternative
A Smartlook alternative, now that it’s winding down.
Smartlook’s own site says new subscriptions stopped in May 2026, and that the platform closes on 30 September 2027. If you use it, you’ll need something else, and it may or may not be us.
In short
Smartlook is closing: no new subscriptions since 31 May 2026, and the platform is shut down, with data deleted, on 30 September 2027. If you relied on its native mobile replay, look at tools with native SDKs. If you mostly used its web heatmaps, Maximizii covers those.

What to do first
Export what you want to keep
Smartlook says data is deleted when the platform closes, and to export it before your plan ends, by 31 August 2027 at the latest.
Work out what you actually use
Native mobile recordings, web recordings, heatmaps and funnels point to different replacements.
Run the replacement alongside it
New tools start from zero, so leave some overlap, and give the new one a few weeks before you turn the old one off.
What replaces which part
What’s said here about Smartlook comes from its own site, checked in November 2026: its home page and closure notes. Products change, so check anything that matters to you.
