FullStory alternative
A FullStory alternative for when you only need the patterns.
FullStory captures sessions in detail across web and native apps, and it’s a serious platform. If your question is “what are people clicking?”, you may not need all that.
In short
FullStory captures full sessions on web and native apps, with product analytics and AI on top. Its own docs put its script at about 80 KB. Maximizii’s is under 6 KB, sets no cookies, and records no sessions, but it can’t show you one person’s visit or see native screens.

Side by side
What’s said here about FullStory comes from its own site, checked in November 2026: heatmaps, mobile, cookies, script performance. Products change, so check anything that matters to you.
When FullStory is worth it
If you support customers by looking at exactly what happened to them, or your product team analyses journeys across web and native, FullStory does that and Maximizii doesn’t. Don’t move away if you use that every week.
It’s worth another look if most of what you actually open is the heatmap, or if you’re under pressure to reduce the script weight and the amount of visitor data you keep.
Questions
What’s a lighter alternative to FullStory?
Maximizii’s script is under 6 KB gzipped, against about 80 KB in FullStory’s own docs, because it doesn’t capture sessions. That’s the trade: much less data, and no replay.
Does Maximizii capture every click?
Yes, by element, and adds them up into maps. It doesn’t keep them as one person’s story.
Does it work on native mobile apps?
No. FullStory does. Maximizii sees web pages in a webview only.
